News ArchivesJuly 21, 2022
The i-Ride Flying Theater of Brogent Technologies (5263) held a press conference today (21), announcing that it will release three anime-themed films at the i-Ride TAIPEI and KAOHSIUNG Flying Theaters starting tomorrow (22), namely "Attack on Titan," "Ghost Chaser," in collaboration with Kodansha, Ltd., and its own IP "Global Fighting". Through the six DOF (Degrees of Freedom) platform in i-Ride, it will lead the audience to fly through the inter-dimensional world and kick off the anime metaverse craze, officially welcoming the era of the post-pandemic.

The "Attack on Titan" trilogy IP was launched at i-Ride Flying Theater last year, allowing visitors to experience the realistic flying experience as if they were wearing a three-dimensional robotics device to take off and fight against the titants! The seats were all sold out on the pre-sale day, and the total revenue was $6 million after one month since it premiered at the theater. Many anime fans are crying out for the re-release of the film. The Ghost Chaser is the only licensed VR entertainment experience from the Kodansha Ltd, which leads the audience to fight side by side with the Police Section 9 as they race through the future city. The self-produced physical animation "Global Fighting" makes the best out of i-Ride simulation technologies. The audience becomes a fighter pilot and fights the monsters at close distance from the perspective of a fighter jet, feeling the physical limits and excitement!

During the two years when the international tourism industry was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, our team continued to build up our R&D capacity, said the Company. From small and medium-sized equipment costing tens of millions of dollars to high-end products costing billions of dollars, we are actively developing more diversified and extensive new equipment with innovative technology to meet the market demand after the pandemic crisis. According to a trend study conducted by Visa and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), this summer will be the starting point for the recovery of the tourism industry in the Asia Pacific region. According to Brogent 's own survey, the number of visitors to major international theme parks has gradually recovered since the second quarter of this year to the level close to the same period in 2019 (before the pandemic), and the business team has started to receive more and more inquiries from customers all over the world. This shows that the park owners are confident in the future, and that people's desire to travel and get together is encouraging the park owners to provide new and unique amusement experience.

With the rise of the metaverse boom, theme park owners are particularly interested in metaverse experiences that integrate simulation technology, according to Brogent. The AECOM Asia 2022 theme park industry analysis report shows that the new generation parents prefer to choose an innovative, high-tech experience for their children, besides the educational aspect. The immersive simulation technology developed by Brogent combines applications in the tourism and education markets. Whether or not it is a theme park, aquarium, zoo or digital content exhibition, the advanced simulation system, 5G, AIoT and block chain technologies can create a more immersive and interactive experience, giving visitors a wonderful and indistinguishable real experience.
